The last look before bed was still moving sideways, but when I checked again in the morning, it had already changed its attitude. This kind of market action really tests patience. It didn’t truly break through; it just repeatedly pushed the price up to high levels, then the support/thin follow-through got thinner and thinner, and the shorts naturally got their window.

Before the market fully got going, I noticed the rebound in $TAO was getting shorter and shorter. It was continuously pressured above TAO, and volume didn’t follow through either. When I saw this kind of low-volume rally, I didn’t bet on it surging further; instead, around 258.4 I opened a long position, and first set clear risk boundaries.

Now the price is at 196.4, and my unrealized profit on the position has been realized as +1155.49%. This one wasn’t a waste of watching the chart. I closed 80% first to secure the bulk; for the remaining 20%, I moved the stop-loss protection to around the entry cost. If it continues to drop, let it run—if it bounces back, I won’t give up the profits already taken.

Risk control comes first—that’s called being rational. Cutting losses only after they’re already wrong—that’s called “a heroic severing of the wrist.” Even if you only capture a segment, as long as you can take something away, it’s yours. Chasing orders is easy to get hung up at the top of the mountain. There will be more opportunities—don’t be in a rush; wait for the next wave of signals to move.
