Deep Tide TechFlow news. On July 23, Fortune reported that Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund Mubadala Capital announced a partnership with Coinbase and infrastructure provider KAIO to tokenize its Evergreen private markets fund, issuing compliant on-chain tokens to qualified investors. Coinbase will use its Base blockchain as one of the underlying networks and will personally purchase the token, bringing the Mubadala fund onto the company’s balance sheet.

It is understood that this is the first time a major U.S. publicly listed company has used compliant tokenized assets for native on-chain financial management. The product has already attracted about $75 million in funding, and investors include both traditional institutions and crypto-native allocation providers. Mubadala manages nearly $400 billion in assets; this tokenization is intended to break through the high entry barriers of traditional private equity and broaden the potential investor base.
