Recently playing Palworld (Pal) and had some thoughts

In the early stage, to get more metal ore, I had no choice but to use all the resources I collected in the beginning to build my Pal blood-sweat factory,
and I also put all of the factory’s early output back into reinvestment.

The result is that I expanded my production capacity. In the mid-to-late stage, when I need to make things, I no longer get stuck in the game progress due to resource shortages.
And in the mid-to-late stage, my demand for metal ore has stayed very high—making equipment, buildings, weapons, and Pal saddles all need it—so my capacity has always kept pace with demand.

But there is one other ore called coral ore. This stuff can’t be mined; you can only get it by killing monsters, dissecting them, or fishing. In the mid stage it gets really scarce.
To get this ore, I went above my level and caught a Sea Emperor Whale in the mid stage to dissect it. The dissection line takes half an hour to hatch an egg, too—half an hour per hatch.

After I finally got the line built, I realized I had already leveled up a lot. The gear that I was going to use made with coral ore was already outdated.
And once the production line was running, the output was far greater than my needs. Up to now, there are still a few hundred Sea Emperor Whale eggs in the boxes—at this point I’m too lazy to hatch them.

I directly悟道了🤣🤣. This isn’t the same as the logic of capex, is it? The only concern is whether the AI demand is for metal ore or coral ore.
But I think AI demand is for metal ore, because I’m already unable to live without AI.
