The UK’s steps are steady: it will first test tokenized bonds before rolling them out more widely. If it works, it could truly build a bridge between traditional finance and DeFi.

The timing is pretty deliberate: 2027 is neither too far nor too close, giving them enough time to slowly work through on-chain settlements.
