DeepSeek Liang Wenfeng: NVIDIA’s moat is falling apart, Huawei’s supernodes can fully replace it

Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 23, in leaked internal remarks from a DeepSeek investor communication meeting, DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng outlined his core views on the development of China-made AI computing power industry and ecosystem. He said that the replacement of domestically produced AI chips is now entering a historic window of opportunity; there are no compatibility barriers between the hardware and the ecosystem. NVIDIA cannot stop the replacement process. The only current issue is insufficient production capacity, and he expects that within one year it can reverse the market’s perception that domestically produced chips are “unable to be used” and “difficult to use.”

He pointed out that NVIDIA’s CUDA ecosystem moat is rapidly collapsing, as multiple industry changes combined with export controls have opened a development window for China-made AI chips. He revealed that DeepSeek has already cooperated with Huawei and obtained 16,000 950 cards to run through the ecosystem.
