Deep Tide TechFlow update: On July 23, according to an official post, Baidu Apollo Go has received Hong Kong’s first fully driverless automated testing license from the Transport Department. The trial run will begin on July 27 on Airport Island. This is the first time Hong Kong has conducted an L4 autonomous driving test without a safety operator on public roads, and the first fully driverless trial in the global right-hand-drive market. Over the past year and a half, Apollo Go has accumulated more than 240k kilometers of safe driving across multiple locations in Hong Kong.
