In Tesla’s latest shareholder materials, the company removed wording stating that four key projects will enter large-scale mass production this year.

These include the autonomous ride-hailing taxi Cybercab, the electric heavy truck Semi, the Megapack 3 large-scale energy storage system, and the humanoid robot Optimus.
In Q1 this year, Tesla also wrote that Cybercab and Semi would enter large-scale mass production within the year, that Megapack 3 would begin large-scale mass production in 2026, and that Optimus’ production lines were under construction and that the company also planned to enter large-scale mass production this year.
By Q2, all four of these statements disappeared.
Cybercab has already started production; Semi still plans to begin production this year; Megapack 3 only has information about production line construction left; and Optimus only says that production line installation is ongoing.
Deleting the text does not mean the projects were canceled, and Tesla has not formally announced a delay. The company expects to invest more than $25 billion this year, and free cash flow in Q2 was negative $1.1 billion.
