$LTC Litecoin: No hype, it has its own sound

As of July 23, 2026, Litecoin (LTC) is quoted at about $47.12. The 24-hour trading volume is $187 million, and the market cap is $3.64B, ranking #23 among crypto assets.

Over the past month, LTC is up about 11.7%; over the last week, it’s up 4.8%. In the same period, Bitcoin is up about 7%, while the S&P 500 is up about 2%. There’s no explosive breakout—only a steady climb step by step.

The circulating supply is 77.27 million coins, just 8% shy of the 84 million cap. 92% of LTC has already been mined, and new supply is nearly exhausted. The inflation rate is extremely low—this isn’t a narrative; it’s the math hardcoded into the code.

Average transaction fees are $0.01 to $0.05, and block confirmations take only about 2.5 minutes. About 27.5 million LTC per day actually moves on-chain—not exchange volume-faking, but real economic activity.

After the August 2023 halving, the block reward dropped to 6.25 LTC. The next halving is expected in July 2027. The supply contraction happens every four years—precise like a clock, never missing its mark.

In 2026, Litecoin completed the MWEB privacy layer security upgrade; Lite Strategy invested $1 million into LitVM, bringing smart contract and DeFi capabilities to Litecoin. No announcements, no hype—just quiet iteration.

From 2011 to today, there’s been no flashy marketing—only 2.5-minute blocks, fees of a few cents, a hard cap of 84 million, and a network that has never gone down for more than a decade.

The data is there. See for yourself.
