Micron's sharp 12% surge has once again put semiconductor stocks in the spotlight, highlighting how quickly investor sentiment can change when expectations around artificial intelligence, memory demand, and technology spending begin to strengthen.

The move reflects the market's growing focus on the semiconductor industry's role in the AI infrastructure cycle. As companies invest heavily in data centers and advanced computing, demand for high-performance memory and related components has become increasingly important.
