A lot of people ask me: What altcoins should I buy now? When should I start positioning?

Jennie’s answer has always been: Don’t rush to look for coins first—check the top gainers list.

Why?

Because the top gainers list is the most direct reflection of where capital is flowing.

When, on the top gainers list, you start seeing the same familiar mainstream altcoins—say RWA, AI, DeFi, or leading L1/L2 chains—turning up in a continuous run of two or three, alternating in momentum, it means capital has started moving from BTC into altcoins and market risk appetite is recovering.

At that point, looking for coins that haven’t started yet but belong to the same sector often gives you a higher chance of success.

Instead of waiting until everything has already pumped, and then chasing.

But obviously, we’re not in that state right now.

Recently, most of the top gainers have been low-market-cap tokens with relatively small trading volume, with weaker continuity and less sector-wide correlation.

The mainstream altcoins with real recognition haven’t formed a sustained rotation.

This suggests that capital is still relatively cautious—more like testing in pockets rather than launching an all-out push.

So instead of racking your brains to find the next altcoin that’s about to turn around, it’s better to wait patiently until the market sends signals.

Markets never start early just because you’re anxious—but being anxious can make it easier for you to buy at the wrong spot.

The real opportunity isn’t buying impulsively when nobody’s moving; it’s positioning with the flow when capital begins to spread. #比特币

Good signals are more important than blindly buying—if you wait until it’s already up to chase, it’s too late.

Indeed, low-cap coins are running wild right now, but their sustainability is weak. Since the mainstream hasn’t moved, it shows that big money is still watching. Waiting patiently for the sector rotation before making a move is more stable.

That’s right—the market isn’t driven higher by urgency; it’s driven higher by waiting. Seeing the familiar leaders keep appearing on the gainers list in succession is a sign that risk appetite is picking back up. Now focusing on those sectors that haven’t moved yet might present opportunities, but don’t bottom-fish too early.
