Solana: On-chain governance officially launches, Jupiter trading volume surpasses $1 trillion

$SOL On July 2, Solana officially launched an on-chain governance system called “Solana Governance Proposals (SGP)”. Validators must stake at least 100k SOL to submit proposals, and approval requires a two-thirds weighted majority of staked votes. SOL is up 16% this week, and the current price is about $83.

In the ecosystem, Solana’s leading DEX aggregator Jupiter announced on July 21 that its cumulative routed transaction volume surpassed $1 trillion. The Solana network processes 100 million transactions per day, and non-voting transactions surpassed 1 billion in early July. On July 17, Solana released two major protocol updates, including SDK improvements and validator upgrades. SOL is currently trading at about $78.

In tokenomics, proposals SIMD-550 and SIMD-553 are expected to be implemented in 2026. They plan to increase the annual SOL inflation decrease rate from 15% to 30%, which could reduce new issuance of about 18.9 million SOL over the next 6 years. #参议院发布CLARITY新文本,最快下周表决
