Seven districts in Beijing have issued a red warning for heavy rain.

At 10:35 on July 10, the Mentougou District of Beijing issued a red rainstorm warning: it is expected that from 14:00 on July 10 to 08:00 on July 12, Mentougou District will experience torrential downpours. In some areas, rainfall over a 6-hour period may reach more than 150 millimeters, and rainfall over a 24-hour period may reach more than 200 millimeters. There is a high meteorological risk of disasters in mountainous areas such as flooding of small and medium rivers, mudslides, and landslides. Low-lying areas are prone to water accumulation, so please take precautions. As of now, Beijing has 7 districts, including Mentougou, Miyun, Huairou, Shunyi, Pinggu, Fangshan, and Fengtai, that have issued red rainstorm warnings. (CCTV News)
