7.23 pancake strategy

Wait for a pullback and only go long after the 1890-1915 range stabilizes. Set a defensive stop-loss at 1875. The first target is 1945-1970. If there is a valid breakout above 1980, look up to 2010. I do not recommend chasing longs at the current price. The 1970 level has accumulated heavy sell pressure; a rally on low volume is likely to quickly fall back, making it easy to get stuck in a short-term losing position after entry. The daily chart has not yet broken through a key resistance level. The market can only be characterized as range repair and base-building—not a one-way long trend—so there is always a risk of pullback and shakeouts; it’s not suitable to blindly hold and expect upside. A more prudent approach is to wait patiently for the pullback to the 1890-1915 support area. Here, the downside room is limited, while the upside battle space is ample, making the entry risk-reward ratio more reasonable.

If 1875 breaks below, does that mean we should go short and look for lower levels, or should we keep waiting for a new support level?

This range is indeed crucial. If it can hold above 1890, the risk-reward ratio will be very favorable, so I’m going to place limit orders.

Following this approach, if it retraces to 1890–1915 and then closes up with a bullish candle, I would test a long position with a small size. But around 1970, I will definitely reduce exposure, because the selling pressure is too heavy.

Before the daily chart breaks the level, it can only be treated as ranging; I’ve chased the price higher and gotten stuck a few times already—so I’ll wait for a pullback.
