Just as I was about to shut down the trading screen and go to sleep, the price first delivered the result that the shorts had been counting on for me. A few days ago, before bed, $OPN was still repeatedly probing at the highs. On the surface everything looked lively, but every time it pushed higher, it was short by that last breath—the volume didn’t keep up, while the sell pressure above became more and more obvious.

During the session, I watched how OPN’s support changed. I could see the rally didn’t have follow-through, and the bids couldn’t hold. So I judged this more like loosening after a bull trap, and I executed a long around 0.1710 without chasing the surface-level strength.

Now the price is at 0.0699. The short position has realized +2844.41%. This profit has finally been safely cashed in—that rhythm is on point. Close 80% first; move the remaining 20%’s protection level to around the cost basis. If it keeps dumping, let the profit run. And if there’s a rebound, don’t spit back the gains you’ve already taken.

Not holding shorts isn’t a crime—reckless opening is the mistake. Friends who haven’t gotten on board yet, don’t chase during this leg. Wait for the next round at a more comfortable position, and only look again once the new structure is formed. There are still opportunities—don’t rush.
