I originally wanted to cut my losses and “sacrifice” them to the heavens, but the heavens didn’t get “sacrificed.” In the end, my short position pulled things back on its own. 📉
This morning, after opening the charts, I went back to review $ALT ’s overnight rhythm. I found it was moving with a lot of excitement, but the trades didn’t really keep up—once it pushed up, nobody stepped in. And the moment the price approached key levels, it turned weak. At that time, I reminded everyone: don’t treat a “limitless” surge as a real breakout. The temptation to lure longs is already very strong. Then I executed a short around 0.008374; the current price dropped to 0.00636, and the unrealized profit showed +589.76%. All that waiting through the night wasn’t in vain.
The position move was simple: first close 80%—put whatever you can into your pocket. Keep the remaining 20% protected at the cost price. If it continues to get pushed down, just ride it; when you get a rebound back up, close out in time.
Experts die trying to catch the bottom, and rookies die by chasing orders. Being able to follow the plan all the way through is the real skill. For friends who haven’t gotten on board yet, listen to this first: don’t chase the drop to add more tickets—you’ll still have chances later.
