Tesla has held 11,509 BTC for nearly four years without buying or selling, with a provision for a $112 million impairment loss.

Golden Finance reported that on July 23, Tesla’s Bitcoin holdings remained unchanged at 11,509 BTC, continuing its nearly four-year status of not buying or selling the cryptocurrency, and it recorded a post-tax impairment loss of $112 million on its digital asset holdings.
Bitcoin fell 14% in the second quarter from about $83,000 to $58,000, before rebounding to about $65,840. Tesla’s second-quarter revenue was $28.2 billion, above expectations; adjusted earnings per share were $0.33, below expectations.
