Good news: a large wave of new Bitcoin buy orders is about to come in. Bad news: you need to take an exam to get in.

According to @TheBlockCo, Russia’s 🇷🇺 State Duma passed the country’s first comprehensive crypto-asset law on July 21, allowing retail investors to buy Bitcoin through licensed intermediaries.

However, they must first pass a knowledge test, and only those who pass are eligible to buy 🤡.

The limit is about $3,900 per person per year per platform, which adds up to roughly 0.06 BTC.

Also, once you buy, you can only hold it and cannot use it for spending. The law takes effect on September 1.

A $3,900 retail limit doesn’t sound like much, but Russia has a population of 140 million people.

All the brave men of the fighting nation are hoping they can pass every exam.
