The backtest results produced by random forest and XGBoost in academic papers look pretty convincing. They say the accuracy of AI predicting the direction of BTC can reach sixty percent. And a mean-reversion momentum strategy reportedly returned 30% in a year—every last one of these is a paper strategist. Real practice is what matters.
Today, I’ll first set up the framework; if it can run end-to-end, that’s a win. What’s the success rate? We’ll measure it before we start bragging.
