I can use the simple formula below to define short-term market lows: whenever higher lows appear on both sides of a daily candlestick low, that low is the short-term low. Research on market activity has shown us that: if on the day of the low the price movement is downward, and later it rises without again making new low prices, then that low is recorded as the short-term lowest point.
