A trader’s post: Malls are packed, but the cash registers are empty—are you aware? People go to the mall just to walk around so they don’t stay at home; nobody goes into the stores.

Waiters look after the tables, and after ordering a coffee, people sit for hours. The shop owners open in the morning and close all day without making any sales. It’s a market that those who say “everyone is outside and the economy is doing great” won’t understand.
