According to NADA NEWS, the Japanese government on July 21 approved “Basic Policy on Economic and Fiscal Management and Reform 2026,” formally writing “advancing on-chain finance” into the country’s economic and fiscal policy documents. The document defines it as using tokenized deposits, stablecoins, and other instruments on blockchain for fund settlement, and coordinating through programs with data management such as trade and logistics. It is expected to be used in scenarios including manufacturing orders, trade documents, and securities settlement.
