$BTC Liying talks about crypto: Latest BTC and ETH market analysis for 7.21
Bitcoin’s current price is 65,450. The bulls have managed to regain their footing, and a fairly solid ascending consolidation channel has formed. Although there are a few small twists in between, the overall focus is steadily moving higher. The current price is right around the prior high pressure zone; whether it can break through decisively and hold above 66,000 is the key. Both the short-term and medium-term moving average trends are biased bullish. The MACD indicator shows no sign of a death cross, indicating strong consolidation. Price is currently trading between the mid band 64,616 and the upper band 65,340, and it has even tested a tentative breakout above the upper band; the opening looks like it’s widening, which usually means volatility is increasing and a turning point is near. As long as the mid band is not broken down, the upward channel remains intact
Short-term trading ideas (reference):
Go long at 64,000–63,500, stop-loss 63,000, target 65,500 aiming at 66,500
Go short at 66,000–66,500, stop-loss 67,000, target 65,500 aiming at 64,500
Ethereum
Family, before publishing, Ethereum is at 1,900—looks like it’s building up energy. It hasn’t broken below key support, and it hasn’t rushed to break the previous high. In simple terms, it’s a tug-of-war between bulls and bears; neither side has gotten an absolute bargain. The technical indicator EMA is in a bullish arrangement. The short-term moving averages are above the long-term moving averages, suggesting the medium-term trend is still bullish. The MACD’s DIF and DEA are both above the zero axis, which is in the bullish zone. Price is currently trading between the mid band 1,871 and the upper band 1,895; the upper band forms short-term resistance, while the lower band at 1,846 is strong support. Overall, the bullish trend on the technical side hasn’t been broken, but the short term still needs a pullback. The key is whether 1,900 can hold effectively
Short-term levels (reference)
Go long at 1,830, defend at 1,800, stop-loss 1,770, target 1,900 aiming at 1,950
Go short at 1,950, defend at 2,000, stop-loss 2,050, target 1,900 aiming at 1,850
