$BTC July 20 BTC market trend analysis
Yesterday’s opening held above 1840 support. The bulls steadily oscillated upward; at midday they surged to 1876. After a minor pullback to wash out, they broke to a fresh high at 1878. Throughout the day, price hovered around 1870 in a narrow range. The bulls appeared strong, but upside momentum has been gradually weakening.
Today’s move started with a drop, pushing downward. The low dipped to 1850. After a brief rebound, it surged to 1891. Despite a 40-point spike, it completely failed to hold the pressure zone. Then it fell again, printing a new low at 1841—making the low lower. The short-term market has switched to a consolidation-and-bearish bias.
From the four-hour Bollinger Bands, the bands are overall flattening and converging, with no trend of one-way uptrend or one-way downtrend. This is a standard box-range consolidation market, mainly trading the range with the strategy of selling at highs and buying at lows following the oscillation trend.
