Recently I tried a few on-chain AI Agents for interactions. The level of automation keeps getting higher and higher, but honestly, there are still plenty of places where you need a human standing by. Especially when it comes to large on-chain transfers—once an exchange’s cold wallet shows even the slightest movement, a lot of people immediately slap on the “smart money” tag and rush in. In the end, they often end up being steered by the momentum. An Agent can follow rules, but it can’t figure out whether the signals are real or fake, or things like the mood on the order book—machines can’t do that.

I’ve developed a habit myself now: before placing an order, I open the limit order screen first, set the limit price, and don’t click confirm. While I go scroll through messages or do something else, I wait for a moment and come back to check. Many times, once I’ve calmed down, I just don’t want to move anymore. Placing limit orders is like practice—market orders make my heart race. Put simply, what backs you up isn’t skill; it’s impulse.
