Recently, those on-chain data tools and tagging systems update a bit slowly, and sometimes they really can mislead people. For example, when a certain protocol is exposed for abnormal interactions, the tags haven’t reacted yet—people still end up thinking everything is fine. Anyway, I don’t trust those “real-time” displays; keeping an eye on things can’t hurt.
Speaking of options: for buyers and sellers, time value clearly eats into the buyer. The seller collects the rent and sits there steady as a rock, while the buyer keeps watching price fluctuations every day—one slip and the time value erodes them away. I have a friend who always wants to take a bet, but he keeps losing to time every time. He’s so angry that he keeps cursing, “This thing is like cutting leeks.” To put it simply, time value is the seller collecting rent, while the buyer is gambling with their life—unless you bet correctly on direction, you’re basically handing over money.
Anyway, someone as rational as me—just watch the show. Don’t get involved blindly.
