Honestly, whenever I see the words “await confirmation” on cross-chain bridges now, I get tense on reflex. After being rug-pulled twice—once because the bridge side’s multisig address was changed by someone, and once because an oracle price feed had a bug and funds got stuck halfway—later I realized that phrase “await confirmation” isn’t telling you to wait a few minutes; it’s asking you to wait while the community debugs first. Anyway, I’d rather pay a bit more gas and take the slower route, and I don’t really trust those bridges that claim to be instant. Lately I’ve been seeing retail traders complaining about miners’ income—turns out it’s also somewhat related to MEV ordering in the bridge. Some bridge sequencers directly help big orders jump the queue, and small users’ confirmation order is like a lottery. I’m not sure whether this can be fixed. For now, that’s it—small bag testing first. Staying alive is the most important.
