Just saw a new protocol for an AI Agent that automatically trades. The returns are being hyped to the sky, but when you look at the contract code, there isn’t even a decent audit—straight up a deal-breaker.

Coming back to LSTs and restaking: the yield sources, to put it bluntly, are basically just a few things—staking rewards, expectations of airdrops, and arbitrage opportunities. But what about the risks? Contract vulnerabilities, de-peg and stampede, and liquidity pool exhaustion—any one of those pits is enough to ruin you.

Anyway, after getting rugged twice, my first reaction when I see a new protocol is to look for the risk points, then think about the returns. Plainly put, even if restaking yields are great, it’s not as solid as keeping your principal safe.

First, revoke some authorizations, cool down, write down the risk points I noticed today, and revisit it another day.
