Honestly, Modular has been “trading” for about half a year, and my mood has been steady the whole time… It’s not that it isn’t important, but for ordinary people, when you open your wallet, it’s still that same stuff—if gas is supposed to be high, it stays high; if it’s supposed to get stuck, it still gets stuck. The social mining I’ve been seeing lately has even left me baffled. To put it plainly, you leave a comment, hit a like, and the chain records it—so what? “Attention is mining” sounds really nice, but isn’t the essence just repackaged traffic distribution? The thing I fear most as a small retail user is that once there are too many people, it turns into a parking lot.

Now that I’m keeping an eye on a new protocol, I don’t even join any group chats—I’ll first go through the documentation to see if there are any serious flaws. In the past, I unfollowed a project because I lost money; now I unfollow it purely because I feel like it’s “not scammy enough”—not enough technical substance. Don’t laugh. I genuinely think that way.
