Haha, over these two days I’ve been watching AI Agents run trades on-chain and automatically execute them pretty smoothly, but the moment it hits something like weird slippage or Gas suddenly spikes, you still have to wait for someone to switch to “manual mode.” I’ve been thinking: the places where you really need a human to backstop are actually things like ordering fairness—when miner/validator income is high, MEV gets squeezed and retail users are screaming; no matter how smart the Agent is, it can’t stop people from racing through in the mempool. In plain terms, some pitfalls still have to be crossed in the flesh before you really know how it hurts. Even the strongest AI can’t learn that “get schooled” pain after getting sandwiched… for now, that’s it. Anyway, when I play pixel theater scenes, I still have to tweak it frame by frame myself; I can’t hand everything over to scripts. 😂 (By the way, today I saw another blind-box-style MEV trade—so funny, it really is humans backing it up all the way.)
