To be honest, I’ve found the options market pretty interesting lately. The buyers keep shouting every day about “picking up cigarette butts,” but the time value is like a vampire—every day after waking up, their positions have shrunk by another chunk. The sellers, on the other hand, are comfortable collecting rent, but when the funding rate suddenly spikes, everyone starts arguing again about whether this is a reversal or whether the market is going to keep squeezing the bubble—anyway, when market sentiment is one-sided, I’m more inclined to stand with liquidity. Doesn’t matter: if you lose time, I’ll lose money—ultimately, whoever runs faster decides.
