Just checked the on-chain mempool—honestly, I’m impressed, but also fed up. The gas fees jump like a heartbeat. Every time the network gets congested, transactions are like waiting in line at a market: people push and shove ahead of you, and you’re stuck in the middle. Either you overpay to cut the line, or you wait for ages and then get kicked out. To be honest, I had a transaction yesterday—I set a medium gas fee, and it ended up getting stuck for almost half an hour. In the end, I watched it get canceled right in front of me… it felt like waiting for a bus in the rain: the bus arrives, but you can’t squeeze on.

Lately, people keep linking ETF fund flows and US stock risk appetite together, which has made me anxious too. Whenever market sentiment shifts, the mempool acts like it’s malfunctioning—there are way too many orders scrambling to get included. For my part, I’d rather wait a bit than randomly rush. With crypto, there’s no point in panicking. Better to stay chill, wait until gas comes down, and then act. That’s it for now—no idea whether I can get it settled smoothly today.
