Yesterday, when I was cross-chain bridging, I saw a pool that went up and then dumped. When it was rising, I thought, “Not bad.” When it dropped, it left me kind of unable to sleep. What does that kind of unrealized loss feel like? It’s like standing by the bridge, waiting for a pass—you can clearly get through, but the window is closed, and they tell you, “Come back tomorrow.” Put simply, losing money is easier than making money, and that’s what keeps people from sleeping—it's a flaw of human nature, not because you don’t understand the market.
Lately, I’ve been hearing that after they added the taxes over there, everyone’s been feeling much tighter about moving funds in and out. As for me, I figure that when you’re in an unrealized loss, if you have a bit of confidence in your own plan, then don’t keep staring at it; but if you don’t even know why you’re losing, then you should just close the app first. Don’t ask me how I know—I closed it three times yesterday before I finally fell asleep.
