A screenshot notification just popped up on my phone. I took a look—wow, of course it was the group chat again, getting blasted with red dots about “a stablecoin reserve audit report is out.” My first reaction was: when was this screenshot taken? Who took it? Did they verify it? …Forget it. Don’t worry about that for now. Once the year-end comes, I’m still going to be more annoyed dealing with the transaction history in my own wallet.

Honestly, this whole mess of “keeping transaction records” really shouldn’t be left until the end of the year. Last year I learned the hard way. I had done on-chain transfers, cross-chain bridges, DEX swaps—everything was just in my memory. Then when I checked at year-end, several addresses didn’t match, and I was so mad I almost wanted to throw myself into the bridge. Now I’m smarter. After every transaction, I quickly take a screenshot—on-chain hash, time, and amount—and save it into a folder, sorted by month. Screenshots are just stronger “mental comfort” than anything else.

As for the depeg rumors running around in the group, don’t believe them too quickly, and don’t rush to run either. First, see whether you have “evidence” in your own hands—transaction records, screenshots, contract addresses. On-chain data won’t lie, but can you find it? First, get your own messy records straightened out. Then we’ll talk about the rest.
