Put simply, when the network is congested, clicking “speed up” is basically paying miners a protection fee—and it’s not even guaranteed to help. They sort by transaction fee, not by how urgently you need it. When a new L1/L2 pulls TVL, everyone rushes in to mine and sell, and the chain gets clogged instantly—old users curse while tweaking their gas, but they still get stuck. Honestly, I think in times like this it’s better to take a breather, wait for the blocks to clear, then send—after all, the ones who are truly in a hurry aren’t me. What about you?
