Honestly, when the funding rate gets extremely abnormal, I usually choose to be an “observer fee collector”—I don’t enter the trade; I just watch which side loses patience first. Take the other side? If your mindset is solid, you can be a weed-harvesting machine; if it blows up, you’re basically handing the exchange trading fees. You try to dodge volatility, but then you think that little bit of idle-account interest isn’t as fun as going to the bridge to watch people argue and make a spectacle out of it. Anyway, in this market, sometimes it really isn’t a technical issue—it’s all about betting you can run faster than me.
Recently, all those new buzzwords about modular blockchains and the DA layer are being pitched by developers like it’s a revolution. But turn around and ask the users, “What is data availability?”—it makes you laugh. It’s the same as the credentials on the bridge: if you have proof, I’ll believe you; if you don’t, then you just squat there and queue up. What’s both infuriating and hilarious is that we here still haven’t figured it out, and over there they’ve already started competing about who’s more “modular.” Forget it—I’ll keep squatting at the bridge and waiting to collect tolls.
