The recent hot topics are really switching fast. This week, the whole thing about miners/validators’ income has been dug up again and people are arguing about MEV ordering fairness and so on. Even if retail traders are cursing, they still charge in if they want to. As for me, I feel chasing hot topics is like watching on-chain transactions: being quick doesn’t necessarily mean you profit, and being slow definitely means you become the fuel.

What I fear most isn’t losing money—it’s losing control. If you’re losing money, at least you know where to cut your losses. But if you run around following your emotions—charging at this today and charging at that tomorrow—once the rhythm gets messed up, you don’t even know how your principal disappears. So I’d rather spend more time reading the over-promising lines in the whitepapers and look for places where the projects are internally consistent, instead of being pushed around by the candlestick chart. For now, that’s it. Anyway, being in a hurry doesn’t help.
