The hot trends change so fast—AI today, RWA tomorrow, MEME the day after. Chasing after each other is really exhausting. I’m not saying you shouldn’t try, but every time I see someone post their gains and I rush in, it’s basically the same as throwing dice. My approach is: first confirm that I actually understand what I’m getting into, then act. If it goes to the moon and I don’t understand it, I won’t get jealous. Sounds easy, but doing it is hard—still better than getting repeatedly rugged.
What I’m most afraid of isn’t moving slowly, it’s moving blindly. When a hotspot gets swarmed, capital scatters all over the place, and in the end retail traders realize they might be the guy at the very bottom of the ecosystem, left holding the bag. Recently I’ve been seeing a lot of people complain about miner/validator revenue, MEV, and ordering fairness—this is basically what they mean: when everyone’s attention is fixed on the price increase, the underlying order is quietly being manipulated. Anyway, I’d rather grind slowly within my own small circle than jump into the mess and gamble on luck.
