Whenever I get itchy and want to chase a rally, I first ask myself: what information am I actually seeing here, or am I just being pushed around by emotion? Honestly, it’s pretty hard to tell—especially when everyone in the group is shouting “it must go up.” My brain easily gets overheated.

On-chain data has been pretty popular lately—things like tagging systems, “smart money” tracking. It sounds really convincing. But to be honest, I always feel it’s a bit lagging. Or maybe the “smart money” you’re seeing is just what they want you to see. I don’t know if I’m the only one thinking this way, but for now I’ll first check the project team’s Twitter to see if they have any lines that overpromise, then compare that with what’s actually happening on-chain execution—whether they match up. At least this way I have some basis in my mind and won’t rush in just because of a pop-up.
