I just整理了 my wallet records for this year, and I almost broke down 😩. I’d been too lazy to keep track before, thinking everything can be checked on-chain. But when I looked back at the end of the year, I had dozens of addresses and a few hundred interactions—I couldn’t tell who was who anymore… Especially for some tasks where I’d spent gas mid-way and it ended up being wasted, and I don’t even know whether that counts as a cost.

Now I’m smarter. Every time I finish an interaction, I immediately screenshot it and tag it, and I log the time, chain, and operation type in Excel or with an on-chain tool. It doesn’t have to be super professional—just as long as I can reconcile things by the end of the year.

Recently, I’ve been seeing a lot of arguments over NFT royalties: how creators’ income should be calculated, and how to handle liquidity in the secondary market. Honestly, it doesn’t really have much to do with us “loot-goblin” types, but keeping transaction records clear is always helpful—it saves me hassle.

Anyway, don’t wait until the end of the year to lose your mind. Start tidying up little by little now.
