Today I saw a whole bunch of accounts getting banned, and honestly, it’s a bit scary.
I used to think the blue V is basically paying “protection money”—if you pay, you’ll always get an extra layer of security. But today I just found out the platform doesn’t care what kind of V you have; if you cross the line, it’s one swift cut. When they banned accounts, they didn’t even give a heads-up. My previously saved content and followers are all gone. If you’re someone who makes content, don’t try to get away with small clever tricks—once your account is gone, everything else goes too.
Back to the main point.
Lately, major law firms and teams have all been moving toward AI: Agents, trading bots, intelligent analysis—everyone is competing harder than the last. But the more I look, the more I feel that many people are just putting an AI “shell” on top, while the core is still the old playbook. People who truly spend time researching models and underlying logic are far too few.
When I stayed in this space back then, it’s because I thought Web3 and AI could spark something different. I’m not unwilling to follow the trend, but I feel that things riding the hype train can also fall just as fast.
Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I still want to take it slow and keep researching what I think is right.
That’s all for now—I’ll continue digging into and learning AI too.
