Recently, besides hunting down airdrop quests, I’ve picked up a new hobby: browsing some on-chain data, then figuring out where the boundaries of privacy and compliance really lie. The other day, in the group chat, the guys were frantically reposting stablecoin reserve audits and rumors of de-pegging. I’m honestly curious—everyone is afraid their privacy gets laid bare, but if something really happens, they also want someone to be able to dig all the way to the bottom.

I think it’s kind of interesting, though. Compliance isn’t about turning the chain into a glass house—it’s about setting limits on what “transparency” means. Put bluntly, the people who are just trying to “farm” free rewards are most afraid of getting mistakenly targeted. But when real regulatory requirements come up, teams that are willing to cooperate are actually the more stable ones. As for what others think, I don’t know. But personally, I’d rather spend a bit more time studying the rules than have my wallet suddenly get “turned off” one day with no warning. Keep your own wallet safe, keep being a happy glass bottle—let’s leave it at that.
