I just came across an old player’s post saying newcomers shouldn’t take the last shift. I nodded at the screen three times.

Over the weekend I casually tested a small pool. The price looked okay, so I instinctively hit confirm without really checking the slippage settings. Turns out only after the trade went through did I realize the actual amount I received was nearly 20% less than expected. It was only delayed by a few seconds, but the depth got completely eaten up—after that, it was all robot bids.

In plain terms: no matter how fast attention cycles, if liquidity can’t keep up, it’s all for nothing. Even if meme hype is screaming, if the pool is shallow, you rush in and you’re basically just fronting for someone else.

What I’m most afraid of missing isn’t the opportunity—it’s the confirmation-safety window.
