Everyone basically knows this: when you flip through your transaction records at the end of the year, your wallet is just full of gibberish—more of a headache than toast that got burned. I’ve gotten into the habit of doing it this way: after every on-chain operation, I quickly take a screenshot, then record a simple Excel sheet—writing down the time, address, and amount. No matter how troublesome it is, just do it so you don’t go mad later when you have to file taxes. Lately there’s been a lot of hype around AI agents doing automated trading, but honestly, it’s more about squeezing out security than about bragging about accomplishments. After all, once the data is gone, the tax authorities won’t recognize any of those fancy, flashy contracts. I’ve tried it myself: after completing an on-chain interaction, making a note is better than anything else—really, it’s only a few dozen seconds.
