I just saw someone say that a certain stablecoin might lose its peg again. The comment section is full of screenshots of redemption panic, and it has a vibe pretty similar to what happened with LUNA last time. In any case, I don’t really believe the peg can hold up just on consensus. As for reserve transparency—plainly speaking, it comes down to who dares to lay everything out, including on-chain addresses and the details of assets. I’ve talked with people about this before: it’s better to use multi-signature cold wallets and hold the fort yourself—slow is slow, but as long as you confirm every step, it feels reassuring.

Recently, I’ve also been seeing many people put ETF fund flows and risk appetite in US stocks together in their discussions, saying that crypto’s rise and fall now follows macro sentiment. My own feeling is that instead of staring at the news, it’s better to check where your own assets really are and who is managing them. Real-world assets and on-chain storage are the true core of security. That’s it for now—data transparency matters more than anything.
