I just saw someone in the group complain that they saw on-chain that a certain cross-chain bridge had been stolen, so they rushed in to grab a quick profit—only to find out it was a fake signal generated by the node index. What a wasted thrill. I’m familiar with this kind of thing. Node RPCs are sometimes like bread: the center is cooked, but the edges are still underdone. During those minutes of “wait for confirmation,” the big shots had already left, and all that was left was us staring at the screen, dumbfounded. People say, “On-chain for five minutes, and the human world is already in trouble,” haha—but it’s not that bad. After all, we’re just treating volatility as breakfast. Don’t trust that index too much—it only serves us a slice. Whether you can actually get to the meat still depends on some luck and patience.
