When a certain public chain recently went offline during an upgrade, everyone in the group was speculating whether ecosystem projects would migrate. I personally think it’s more practical to first figure out where your asset permissions are actually attached—whether you migrate or not. Re-staking has also been pretty popular lately: things like shared security and “returns stacking” sound great, but don’t directly treat “returns stacking” as “security stacking.” The more illusions you buy into, the easier it is to fall. Anyway, for someone like me who’s a step behind, adding one more multisig confirmation, one by one to verify, is what makes me feel secure. No matter how high the returns are, if you lose your private key or there’s a contract problem, it’s all for nothing. That’s it for now—taking it slow is a good thing.
