Liying Talks About Coins: Latest Market Analysis for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) on 7.18
Bitcoin’s current price is 63,400, and it’s exactly pulling back to the support area of this pile of moving averages. This kind of move is actually a typical uptrend continuation or a high-level range shakeout. As long as the larger trend hasn’t broken, the drop is a chance to get in; but if it breaks key levels, then you have to admit defeat and protect yourself. Technical indicators show EMA: short-term bearish power is dominant, with 63,540 as the bulls’ last line of defense below. The MACD adjustment hasn’t finished yet. The Bollinger Bands are squeezing and leveling off; the price is currently running below the middle band (63,804). The lower band support is 62,574, which means short-term volatility is decreasing. The market is choosing a direction and is likely to first test the lower band support.
Short-term idea reference:
Go long at 63,000–63,500, stop loss 62,500, target 64,000 aiming at 65,000
Go long at 66,000–66,500, stop loss 67,000, target 65,500 aiming at 64,500
Ethereum
Family members, before this report is published, ETH is at 1,835. So should we buy the dip or run away? Basically, Liying is saying this is just a normal rest after a strong run. The larger trend hasn’t broken, but in the short term it is indeed a bit weak. Don’t rush to chase higher prices, and don’t panic and cut losses. Wait patiently for a clear signal before taking action—it’s safer. From a technical standpoint, the current price is below EMA7 at 1,835 and EMA30 at 1,857. The short-term moving averages form downward pressure, indicating bears have the upper hand. In MACD, both DIF and DEA are below the zero axis and the dead cross is pointing down; the green histogram keeps expanding, meaning momentum is bearish. However, the Bollinger middle band is at 1,863, and the lower band support is 1,802. The current price is close to the lower band, so there’s a possibility of an oversold rebound. Overall, in the short term it still remains in a correction channel, but if it can stabilize above 1,800, the mid-term bull structure hasn’t broken.
Short-term level reference:
Go long at 1,830, defense 1,800, stop loss 1,770, target 1,900 aiming at 1,950
Go long at 1,950, defense 2,000, stop loss 2,050, target 1,900 aiming at 1,850
