Your deep research is just a psychological placebo—so you can feel a little less guilty when you go all-in.
For you to buy a coin:
You read the whitepaper.
You flip through GitHub commit records.
You check the team’s LinkedIn.
You calculate FDV and circulating supply.
You draw three Excel spreadsheets.
You spend three whole nights.
And you think this is “research.”
Actually, this is “finding yourself a reason to go all-in.”
What really determines when you place your order
isn’t those three Excel sheets—
it’s someone in the group saying, “This coin is about to list on an exchange.”
You look at it for three seconds,
then you throw the results of your three nights of work into the Recycle Bin.
Your research isn’t meant to help you make decisions.
It’s meant to give you courage.
You already want to buy it—
you’re just looking for evidence to prove that wanting to buy it is right.
This isn’t research.
This is paying money to hire yourself as a shill.
Real research has only one standard:
Did it ever make you give up on a trade?
If your “deep research” has never stopped you from buying anything,
then it’s not research.
It’s just you playing pretend with yourself.
You might say, “But after I researched, I really made money.”
The money you made
is because you entered during a bull market,
not because you understood the whitepaper.
In a bull market, even pigs can fly.
Pigs won’t think they’re flying because they studied aerodynamics.
Next time before you open the whitepaper, ask yourself one question:
If the coin’s team is all scammers,
do I still have any other reasons to buy it?
If the answer is “no,”
don’t waste time reading the whitepaper.
Just admit you’re gambling—
and save three nights’ worth of electricity compared to self-deception.
