JPMorgan: Falling oil prices will unlock upside potential for European stock markets
JPMorgan Asset Management strategist Karen Ward stated that the long-term bearish sentiment in European stocks has created a rare buying opportunity. Falling oil prices, the boost from AI sectors in the US and Asian markets have made Europe relatively cheaper, forming an attractive entry point. Diminished Iran risks and rising oil prices will unlock potential; since the market has deemed the conflict controllable, valuation discounts have narrowed. After Trump signed the temporary agreement, oil prices fell again; if the final agreement takes effect, funds may flow back from US stocks to international markets to achieve diversified allocation.
