6.8 Late Night Review: All the news is contradictory, both bulls and bears are buried, no one made money tonight

Tonight in the crypto world, perfectly exemplifies what "news-driven killing" means

Everyone was originally watching the ceasefire in Israel and Palestine, waiting for safe-haven funds to withdraw and push the market up, but then news kept coming out one after another, all contradicting each other:

Iran just said "military strikes against Israel are over," then moments later, southern Lebanon was hit by airstrikes again

Trump posted two tweets shouting "Peace negotiations are ongoing," but the IDF immediately countered "All strikes are carried out solely by us"

Iran and the US said negotiations are still ongoing, while the Houthis directly announced "A permanent ban on Israeli navigation in the Red Sea"

And the black swan no one expected: South Korea's stock market crashed over 8%, with all Asian markets plunging, panic quickly spreading to the crypto market

The market moves faster than a face change
First, Bitcoin quickly rose from 62,800 to 63,900, those chasing the rally just rushed in, then it suddenly dropped back to 62,500; the "mistress" is even more ruthless

I really want to say now: Never bet on the direction when news is conflicting

Tonight, all the news is fragmented, unverified, and can reverse at any moment. You think a ceasefire is good news, but tomorrow the conflict might escalate again; you think a stock market crash is bad news, but maybe the Fed will come out tonight to rescue the market

90% of the evening news is essentially a tool for capital to harvest profits. They first release good news to trigger short squeezes, then release bad news to crush long positions, eating both sides, leaving chaos behind #伊朗袭击以色列
